Role Summary
Manager Business Intelligence and Master Data Management CE at Dentsu is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, financial transparency, and performance visibility across the organization. This role combines financial controlling, master data management, and data analytics to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. The position serves as a key link between Finance, Business Operations, and Technology, enabling data-driven management through automation, governance, and insightful reporting. The role collaborates closely with the EMEA Finance and Data teams and utilizes the Samurai data lake as the core foundation for all reporting and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial (Project and Client P&L) and operational controlling processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and performance data across systems.
- Contribute to enterprise performance management (EPM) initiatives to drive efficiency and transparency.
- Maintain and govern key master data (e.g., cost centers, clients, products, hierarchies) across finance and business systems.
- Define and implement data quality standards and harmonization processes.
- Collaborate with IT, EMEA, and business teams to ensure MDM alignment within EPM tools and the Samurai data lake.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
- Automate data pipelines and integrate multiple data sources to improve reporting efficiency.
- Support stakeholders with ad hoc analysis and data visualization best practices.
- Identify and implement process automation and optimization opportunities within finance and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across CE and EMEA to enhance end-to-end data and reporting flows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial or business controlling, data management, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI (including DAX and Power Query).
- Strong understanding of EPM systems, master data structures, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, D365, or Workday).
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Power Automate).
- Experience working with enterprise data lakes and finance structures.
- Exposure to agentic or AI-driven analytics frameworks is a plus.
