Overview
Corporate Solutions is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Manager to accelerate B2B payments growth in Colombia. This role will focus on expanding Mastercard's Corporate Solutions footprint across priority issuers and large corporates, building qualified pipeline, converting high-impact opportunities, and activating solutions that drive GDV and Net Revenue growth. The role will work closely with Account Management, Product, Services, Market teams, and issuer partners to turn Colombia's B2B payments opportunity into measurable business impact.

Role Purpose
The Manager, Business Development - B2B Payments & Corporate Solutions, Colombia will be responsible for driving growth across assigned Colombia opportunities by building issuer-level growth plans, creating corporate demand, converting qualified pipeline, and supporting deal activation. The position will be accountable for delivering against GDV, Net Revenue, pipeline, conversion, and activation objectives for the customers and opportunities allocated to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Issuer Growth & FI Enablement:• Build and execute growth plans with priority issuers in Colombia. • Identify whitespace opportunities across commercial cards, supplier payments, CTA, P-Card, Smart Data, InControl, and related Corporate Solutions. • Train and enable FI sales teams to identify, pitch, and convert B2B opportunities. • Develop issuer-level business cases showing GDV, revenue, and profitability potential. • Collaborate with Account Management teams to ensure Corporate Solutions becomes a strategic priority within key issuer relationships.
Direct-to-Corporate Activation:• Engage large and mid-market corporates to identify accounts payable, procurement, travel and expense, and working capital pain points. • Articulate Mastercard's value proposition across carded and non-carded B2B payment flows. • Create demand with corporates and connect qualified opportunities back to FI partners in an issuer-agnostic manner. • Support corporates in understanding how Mastercard platforms, products, and services can address payment inefficiencies and unlock growth.
Pipeline & Deal Execution:• Own pipeline creation, tracking, conversion, and activation for assigned Colombia opportunities. • Coordinate with Product, Services, Account Management, Implementation, and Market teams to move deals from concept to go-live. • Support RFPs, commercial proposals, business cases, and executive-level client presentations. • Track opportunity progress, identify risks, escalate dependencies, and drive actions required to activate deals.
Market Strategy & Stakeholder Management:• Map decision makers, influencers, economic buyers, and execution stakeholders across priority banks and corporates. • Develop a repeatable Colombia go-to-market playbook that can scale across South LAC markets. • Represent Corporate Solutions in relevant client forums, industry events, and strategic discussions. • Bring the full Mastercard capability set to clients by coordinating across Product, Data & Services, Cyber & Intelligence, New Payment Platforms, and other relevant teams.
Success Measures / KPIs:• Incremental GDV generated from assigned Colombia issuers and corporate opportunities. • Net Revenue contribution from activated Corporate Solutions deals. • Qualified pipeline value and pipeline conversion rate. • Number of activated deals and successful go-lives. • Issuer enablement progress, including trained teams, active opportunities, and adoption of playbooks. • Corporate demand generation, including qualified Direct-to-Corporate opportunities created and referred to FI partners. • Progress against agreed priority accounts and measurable performance objectives.
All About You• Experience in B2B payments, commercial cards, transaction banking, cash management, treasury sales, corporate banking, corporate payments, banking strategy, consulting, or issuer portfolio management. • Strong understanding of Colombian financial institutions, corporate banking dynamics, and the needs of large and mid-market corporates. • Proven ability to build pipeline, influence senior stakeholders, and convert complex B2B opportunities. • Ability to develop business cases, financial models, opportunity sizing, and client-ready value propositions. • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Services, Account Management, Implementation, Market Development, and regional leadership. • Strong executive communication skills in English and Spanish. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive execution from opportunity identification to activation. • Self-motivated, commercially curious, analytical, and comfortable operating in a high-growth, evolving business environment.• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.

Skills Required

  • Proven ability to build pipeline, influence senior stakeholders, and convert complex B2B opportunities
  • Ability to develop business cases, financial models, opportunity sizing, and client-ready value propositions
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Services, Account Management, Implementation, Market Development, and regional leadership
  • Strong executive communication skills in English and Spanish
