The Region Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) leads regional marketing efforts to drive top-of-mind awareness, brand affinity, relevance and consumption – ultimately winning new users and building brand love. BMMs embody our commitment to giving a ‘local face to a global brand’ by creating, planning, and executing innovative local brand campaigns, while ensuring consistent and accurate brand representation. As a key member of the Marketing team, you’ll lead the development and execution of local consumer-focused marketing programs that bring the brand to life by utilizing multiple facets of the marketing mix.
Job DescriptionCONSUMER INSIGHTS
Be the eyes, ears, and voice of the consumer, leveraging your understanding of regional insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence brand marketing strategies and execution
Create inclusive and culturally relevant Brand Marketing communications and experiences that authentically reflect and celebrate diverse communities within the region
Constantly identify emerging consumer trends and identify opportunities for Red Bull Marketing to activate consumers in new and exciting ways
REGIONAL BRAND MARKETING
Protect brand equity by ensuring all local brand efforts (Brand, Sports, Culture properties) are executed in line with national/global strategy and guidelines, providing feedback and coaching to local teams
Develop and execute innovative, insight-driven 360° local marketing occasions and consumer activation plans that drive product demand, increase awareness, and build brand equity, engagement, relevance, and consumption
Own creative asset development, brief writing, and approval processes for distinctive assets seen in-store, online, and in the field
Ensure consistency of strategy across each campaign element, building tools and resources that drive “best-in-class” execution
Drive Occasion strategies across work, socializing, study, fitness, and gaming by translating insights into integrated, cross-functional campaigns—ensuring consistent strategy, best-in-class execution, and sustained brand and consumption growth
Collaborate with regional Sports, Culture, and Media Network teams to optimize outcome of brand initiatives
Contribute to National Brand Marketing best practices by building clear KPIs, consistently tracking results and sharing learnings throughout campaign development & execution
Leading translating National campaigns into Regionally relevant strategies and execution plans
Support strategically identifying the most relevant local “big moments” to win in priority markets, and close gap vs key regional goals
BEVERAGE INITIATIVES AND SALES SUPPORT
Lead all regional product launches, building & developing cross-functional plans within the region
Ensure regional look & feel utilizes national marketing assets when possible while also following national/global creative guidelines
Leverage national programming to drive sales in regional retail accounts
Ensure national product strategy is translated properly at local events by aligning with Beverage Initiatives team on event product planograms and working with event managers to execute the plan properly
Identify local nuances that national Brand team needs to consider in the POS development process
Ensure POS strategy is being executed properly including: leading local market visits, sharing real-time feedback with distribution teams and delivering recaps with learnings and opportunities back to national Brand team. Working with On Premise marketing team to ensure that On Premise teams have the right creatives and tools to drive compelling messaging at the point of sale
Identify regional event barters that can be leveraged for Sales and Shopper Marketing
ADVERTISING & CREATIVE
Provide Advertising Team local insights to guide the planning and execution of regional advertising plans
Consult on media plans and creative to ensure that media mix and creatives will resonate with local consumers
Develop clear creative briefs to ensure agencies deliver world class creative output
BUDGET MANAGEMENT, REPORTING & BRAND STANDARDS
Ensure consistency of strategy across each campaign element, driving “best-in-class” execution
Develop appropriate and measurable marketing objectives for all campaigns
Closely manage Brand Marketing budgets within the region
Consistently monitor and share competitive marketing activations with National Brand team
Qualifications4+ years of brand marketing experience
Strong experience in consumer marketing and retail activation, preferably in a CPG environment
An understanding and working knowledge of digital and social media
Experience curating and implementing strategies in local markets
Experience managing budgets and working with traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
Project management experience delivering projects from ideation to execution
Success in collaborative and creative environments
Additional InformationThis position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $85,600- $128,400 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
