Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Master the craft – Achieve and maintain required Operator Authorization(s) and be trusted to run high-precision work the right way.

Program with precision – Develop, edit, and fine-tune CNC programs while setting up complex fixturing for CNC and manual machines to get parts from print to production.

Build accuracy from the start - Set machine origins, work offsets, and tool lengths exactly to spec so every run starts on solid ground.

Turn prints into real-world results - Work from blueprints, material requests, method sheets, and written work instructions to deliver quality parts.

Shape perfection – Machine components to extremely close tolerances, achieving exact squareness, concentricity, parallelism, and finish.

Innovate with Engineering – Partner on custom jobs and process improvements that push manufacturing forward.

Equip for success – Select, set, and load tools; perform first-piece runoffs and validate setups.

Guard quality at every step – Measure and inspect in-process and finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.

Share what you know- Support and train fellow machinists on setups, best practices, and job-specific tasks.

Keep machines running strong – Perform routine maintenance and jump in to troubleshoot CNC issues so production stays efficient and reliable.

Own the details - use basic computer systems to record labor transactions and complete required production and quality documentation.

 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  •  Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment

  • Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

  • Solid understanding of materials, tooling, and machining best practices

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Safety-first mindset and reliable work habits

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational training or apprenticeship is an asset

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Experience with CAM programming (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, Gibbs)

  • Fixture or tooling design experience

  • Background in aerospace, medical, or other tight-tolerance industries

Hourly Rate Range:  $28.00-  Final $35.00 rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
