Job Summary-
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Lube Tech to perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles in Dade City, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness and longevity of our fleet.
Job Responsibilities-
- Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, and other vehicles.
- Lubricate equipment components as specified by manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules.
- Inspect equipment for potential issues, leaks, or wear and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and hours worked.
- Operate and maintain lubrication equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in general shop cleanup and organization.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Qualifications-
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Lube Tech or in a similar heavy equipment maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and vehicle systems.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and service guides.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
