Main Purpose of the Role:
Ensure highest quality data integrity as systems are updated, constant clear communication regarding Cold treatment to all parties. Facilitate all operations, analytics, and support for cold treatment seasons.
Support process improvement initiatives across the commercial organization to deliver business benefits. Assist in the development of multiple projects and play a key role in influencing change within and across business units. Communication and liaison with staff at all levels throughout the organization to influence desired improvement outcomes is a key requirement for the role.
Main Tasks:
-Update daily the Cold Treatment Spreadsheet with details with port of load, reefer details, & anticipated completion times and notate any additional information
-Monitor all Cold Treatment & Controlled Atmosphere going on the rail.
Ensure all CA/CT reefers evacuate back to WCSA --
-Coordinate downloads with vendors, terminals, or vessels as required
-Arrange changing the Port of Discharge for any Miami reefers that don’t pass the protocol before discharging
-Follow up on each Cold Treatment container to ensure USDA approval and clearance for all CT reefers
-Ensure any reefer requiring retreatment is promptly removed from the terminal.
-Review StarCool downloads for any protocol deviations or Cold Treatment extensions.
-Forward data for non-compliant reefers to Haifa MNR and related teams for root cause investigation
-Monitor all Cold Treatment & Controlled Atmosphere going on the rail.
-Ensure all CA/CT reefers evacuate back to WCSA
-Process all invoices related to Cold Treatment such as reefer monitoring, terminal downloads and Bellone Invoices
-Update weekly and monthly reports for Cold Treatment to be shared with Trade, Haifa, and ArrowSpot
RequirementsOne year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excel Spreadsheet software and Word, Outlook Word Processing software, SAP.
High level computer literacy with excellent data analytical skills, statistical analysis programs.
