Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team remotely in the UK or at our site in Harrogate.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for verifying customs documents, to ensure compliance with UK import tax regulations.
  • Support/guide internal and external stakeholders with UK Import regulated shipments, ensuring an efficient journey.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate any discrepancies with customs documents, in line with both UK tax regulations and business needs.
  • Proactively monitor and manage future, pending and retrospective submissions via our inbox and Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
  • Maintain good tracking of all submissions in our Import Shared Drive.
  • Perform month-end reconciliation of import documentation and submissions, generating Post-Clearance Amendments (PCAs) if necessary.
  • Verify courier invoicing originating from imports into the UK via our invoicing (FSA) system.
  • Being fully conversant with procedures, POs, GLP, GMP and Company EH&S regulations pertaining to the department and the job role.
  • Develop/Maintain SOP’s or guides as needed to ensure efficient processes are in place.
  • Performing such other duties that are required from time to time.  These will include other Logistics tasks and routine FSA tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant national level of education in comparison to High School Diploma or equivalent, GCSE A-level or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to network.
  • High level of attention to detail working to high quality standards.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively.
  • Naturally curious and interested in learning new things along with the ability to demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Previous experience in industry either in an operational or support role advantageous.
