Global Product Labelling (GPL) at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company, is a global organization responsible for clinical user documentation, content systems, and localization of medical device products. The GPL Localization Team ensures the language quality and localization of user documentation, software user interfaces, and related materials in up to 35 languages for documentation and 8 for software UI.
We are seeking a Localization Project Manager to join the team and drive delivery, quality, and compliance across our localization portfolio.
This position is to be based in Hungary.
In the role, you will:
- Manage the localization of technical projects from English into multiple languages
- Coordinate with localization vendors, and internal and external reviewers
- Interact with internal global customers and stakeholders, such as project and product management, authoring teams, application specialists, marketing
- Execute projects within the allocated budget and regulated process framework
What you will have:
- Degree in Translation or related studies, or equivalent professional experience
- Mastery in English and knowledge of at least a second language
- Advanced knowledge of localization processes applied to technical documentation or software
- Technical proficiency in the use of translation management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to independently identify and resolve complex issues
- Experience working with Kanban an advantage
