What You’ll Do
The LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network is a member of the Collaborative Impact team of the Foundation for California Community Colleges and supports meaningful connections between students and employers in California through work-based learning and support services. Our role is to support efforts to bring relevancy and real-world experience to students in California through growing the quantity and quality of work-based learning. The Foundation's Collaborative Impact Department, through the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network, seeks a full-time Coordinator to play a critical role in the department's success by supporting the administration of Local Education Agency (LEA) partnerships within the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network.
This position represents an exciting opportunity to help to provide a wide range of administrative and outreach support working with a community college district(s), as well as industry employers, government agencies, funders, and more. The coordinator’s support will assist with LEA initiatives that focus on the expansion of new and innovative pre-apprenticeships and registered apprenticeships as pathways for a diverse array of students and job seekers to secure middle-skill jobs in California and addressing racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in the labor market.

Collaborate with, and coordinate meetings for community college districts, K-12 districts, industry employers, government agencies, and funders to support the administration and expansion of Local Education Agency (LEA) partnerships

Organize and participate in outreach events, information sessions, and presentations to promote work based learning opportunities in an effort to recruit students and job seekers into pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs

Maintain proper documentation of program participants in accordance with FERPA confidentiality

Some working experience with calendaring and scheduling meetings and coordinating events, and ability to work evenings and weekends in relation to these events

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:
$20.19 - $26.44
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
