Position Details
Palm Lake Care Bethania is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a Part Time permanent basis.
Shifts Available
Monday 0830 - 1600
Tuesday 0900 - 1600
Wednesday 0900 - 1600
Thursday 0900 - 1600
Friday 0830 - 1600
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to deliver a diverse range of individual and group activities that enrich the lives of our residents. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, focused on continual improvement and resident wellbeing. Above all, your work will promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for those in our care.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
- A current National Police Check
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC framework
- Knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded but not essential)
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards)
- Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families
