Job Summary
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager turns lifecycle strategy into scalable, measurable customer engagement campaigns for Avid's direct-to-consumer subscription business. This role owns assigned programs from planning through execution, launch, measurement, and optimization, bringing together cross-functional partners and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on lifecycle or CRM marketer with strong program management, campaign operations, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills. You can turn a business objective into a clear engagement plan, keep work moving, and use results to improve what comes next.
This is an individual contributor role. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager owns campaign development start to finish and the program management of their assigned campaigns, not people management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lifecycle Strategy & Campaign Ownership
- Own end-to-end lifecycle programs from business brief and strategy through execution, launch, measurement, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
- Turn business and customer objectives into campaign plans covering audiences, messaging, channels, dependencies, timelines, and success metrics.
- Manage multiple campaigns at once, identify risks and blockers to keep work moving to launch.
- Own programs across prospect conversion, onboarding, engagement, retention, renewal, win-back, and expansion.
Campaign Execution, Audience & Quality
- Own campaign execution across email (using Knak), in-app messaging, onsite experiences, and other lifecycle channels, including campaign setup and execution in Braze.
- Define segmentation, eligibility, personalization, and suppression requirements; partner with Data to validate logic, data availability, and reporting.
- Own campaign QA and readiness, including personalization, dynamic content, offers and pricing, suppression, links, landing pages, test sends, rendering, and launch checks.
- Monitor campaigns after launch and act quickly on issues affecting customer experience or business performance.
Measurement & Optimization
- Define KPIs and measurement plans with Data and Analytics, and use Braze, Looker Reports, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Amplitude, and other available sources to assess performance.
- Turn campaign results and customer behavior into clear insights, business implications, and recommendations, not just reporting.
- Plan and manage A/B and other controlled tests, document learnings, and apply results to future campaigns.
Cross Functional Leadership & Process Improvements
- Lead cross-functional team meetings for assigned campaigns, driving alignment, decisions, and next steps across partner teams.
- Lead day-to-day coordination across Product Marketing, Market Solutions, Content, eCommerce, Digital Operations, Creative Services, Growth, Data, and Engineering.
- Create clear briefs, requirements, timelines, and decision points; define lifecycle requirements and drive technical needs through Engineering and Product Technology teams.
- Work with the Growth team to establish improvements to the customer journeys across acquisition and lifecycle engagement campaigns.
