As a Legal Intern you will assist members of the Legal Department by conducting legal research along with having ownership of your own projects. You will be provided hands on experience working with real business projects while gaining valuable knowledge of the insurance industry.
The start date for this position will be May 2026. In order to gain the best experience possible, we allow our Intern to work full-time during the summer with the potential to work part-time during the school year.
In this position you will:
- Research statutes, regulations, and case law related to trucking insurance.
- Look into governance, contract, or compliance law issues affecting the company.
- Assist with understanding and tracking changes in laws across different jurisdictions.
To be successful in our internship you will be:
- Must be a law student pursuing a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with at least one year of law school completed.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals.
- Self-motivation with organizing work and follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working both independently and with others.
