ABOUT THE JOB

The Learning Ecosystem & Program Manager creates a connected, modern, and high-quality learning experience across Marathon Health University, from onboarding through ongoing development. This role brings together learning programs, technology, communications, resources, and delivery practices so teammates can easily find, access, engage with, and apply learning.

The Manager leads key enterprise learning programs and onboarding, oversees the learning technology ecosystem and the Learning Technology Administrator, and drives Marathon Health University communications, engagement, adoption, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines learning and development expertise, people leadership, program management, learning technology, and modern approaches, including AI and emerging learning tools, to create scalable, relevant learning experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Ecosystem & End-User Experience

  • Manage the day-to-day evolution of Marathon Health University as a connected learning ecosystem across onboarding, enterprise programs, functional learning, technology, resources, and communications.
  • Oversee the learning portfolio and teammate experience to ensure programs and pathways are relevant, coordinated, scalable, and easy to navigate from onboarding through ongoing development.
  • Establish learning standards, governance, operating rhythms, and an integrated enterprise learning calendar while identifying opportunities to simplify and improve the experience.

Learning Programs, Onboarding & Enablement

  • Partner with leaders, learning owners, and SMEs to identify capability gaps and translate business needs into practical learning and enablement solutions.
  • Manage enterprise learning programs and onboarding from planning through implementation, reinforcement, and measurement.
  • Oversee program readiness and coordination across facilitators, SMEs, learning owners, technology partners, vendors, and other contributors.
  • Support enterprise change initiatives by coordinating learning, communications, adoption, and reinforcement using modern learning approaches..

Learning Technology Ecosystem & AI

  • Lead the learning technology ecosystem and Learning Technology Administrator, setting priorities, supporting development, and ensuring technology effectively enables MHU.
  • Serve as business owner for the learning technology experience, establishing priorities for learner experience, platform capabilities, governance, adoption, integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Learning Technology Administrator to evaluate and implement modern learning technologies, AI, automation, intelligent search, personalization, and other emerging solutions that improve learning experiences and operations.

Marathon Health University Communications, Engagement & Adoption

  • Develop and oversee the MHU communications and engagement approach across learning campaigns, program launches, recurring communications, and learning stories.
  • Partner with the Learning Operations Specialist, Communications, program owners, and facilitators to increase awareness, engagement, and adoption of learning opportunities.
  • Use teammate feedback and engagement data to continuously improve communications, program experiences, and how teammates connect with MHU.

Learning Insights, Vendors & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success measures and evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, adoption, proficiency, operational measures, and business outcomes.
  • Develop and share insights, dashboards, and recommendations that inform learning priorities and improvements.
  • Manage learning technology vendors, content providers, and external learning partners to ensure quality, value, and service expectations.
  • Use data, feedback, business needs, and emerging practices to continuously improve the learning ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, program management, learning operations, learning technology, onboarding, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated people-management experience, including setting priorities, coaching and developing others, providing feedback, and driving accountability and results.
  • Experience managing enterprise learning programs and learning technology environments across multiple audiences or functions.
  • Strong knowledge of modern learning approaches and technologies, including digital learning, performance support, peer/social learning, generative AI, automation, and emerging learning tools.
  • Strong program/project management, communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and analytical skills with experience using data to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
