At Instructure our Learning Consultants are passionate and capable consultants who deliver change management guidance, platform consulting, and training to organisations involved in education, from small K12 institutions, through vocational education providers, to large public universities.

Learning Consultants guide and assist our customers to integrate and utilise Instructure products effectively, focusing on change management, engagement, training, and support for maximum adoption and value. This role sits within our EMEA services team and supports customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

What you will be doing:
  • Convey knowledge of the Instructure learning platform to clients and serve as an expert for Instructure products.

  • Coordinate client projects on key initiatives and provide best practices and guidance to achieve the desired results of those key initiatives.

  • Collaborate with other services team members and actively participate in project planning and delivery activities.

  • Use critical thinking and research to develop actionable insights and efficient solutions, operating with autonomy while collaborating with the wider services team to solve problems of moderate scope.

  • Demonstrate the ability to be organised, adaptable, and timely, operating independently while working cohesively with the team.

  • Listen to client needs and customise deliverables to client use cases, goals, and plans, demonstrating the ability to manage projects independently while maintaining close alignment with team standards.

  • Deliver standard and custom training agendas and sessions to groups of varying sizes, audiences, and experience levels.

  • Develop and maintain training curriculum and materials, including videos and self-paced online courses.

  • Provide consulting advice to a variety of education sectors to increase platform usage and adoption.

  • Guide clients with change management initiatives.

  • Support clients’ advanced use of Instructure products through training efforts, consultation, and alignment of pedagogical objectives with platform functionality.

  • Deliver online webinars and onsite training, and participate in other internal training scenarios as needed.

  • Research and understand client needs and objectives to support customisation of services, growth of services offerings, and improved client experience.

  • Identify areas where additional support, training, or consulting are needed to support client objectives.

  • Identify and implement AI solutions to enhance service delivery or departmental efficiency.

  • Participate in team projects that support goals and initiatives of the department.

  • Seek opportunities for professional learning and reflect on feedback.

  • Set forecasts on all project tasks and milestones, ensure revenue recognition processes are completed, and escalate risks to missing forecasts to leadership.

  • Working knowledge of pedagogical approaches, technology adoption strategies, and educational technology best practices.

  • Ability to engage a wide variety of audiences, including academics and teachers, administrators, and leadership.

  • Experience in teaching or training in a corporate training, K12, vocational education, or higher education context.

  • Ability to keep training sessions fresh, fun, effective, and relevant.

  • Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Desire for professional growth, accountability, and high quality deliverables.

  • Ability to use web conferencing technologies and web based tools like Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar to coordinate, manage and facilitate training.

  • Eligibility to work in Hungary, with the ability to work remotely from Budapest.

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA for onsite client work, up to a maximum of 20%.

Ideally, you’ll also know/have:
  • Fluency in one or more additional European languages alongside fluent English.

  • Experience working with customers in multiple EMEA countries, and comfort working across time zones and cultures.

  • Experience leading or supporting change, or involvement in rolling out a technology platform within an organisation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, educational technology, communications, or a related field.
