What you’ll do at Elekta

As a Senior Verification Engineer, you will be part of a   hardware team, developing mechanical and electronic solutions in an agile framework, for our Linear Accelerator portfolio. You’ll play a key role in all phases of the verification process, including planning, specification, execution, and reporting for both new solutions and modifications to existing products.

You will collaborate closely with the hardware designers and other verification functions setting up environments for testing to ensure a testable design and provide early feedback on the product performance. Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases and environments
  • Perform exploratory and regression testing.
  • Identify defects and report bugs with a strong attention to detail.
  • Develop and validate test tools.
  • Create and review verification documents.
  • Review technical product documents, including drawings and design-related materials.
  • Contribute to the development of technical testing strategies.
  • Manage test sites and related activities.
  • Keep up with the latest technical and clinical advancements in the field.

Are you a hands-on person, comfortable working in labs or garage environments, experienced in handling power tools and following safety instructions, and naturally curious about how things work? Then please keep reading and apply!

What you bring

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate high integrity and strong attention to detail throughout the verification process. You should also be confident in advocating for necessary changes to ensure product quality and safety. This is an individual contributor role that involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, so a proactive, self-starting attitude is essential.

We believe you should also have:

  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Several years of solid experience in verification and testing methodologies for mechatronic components.
  • Professional experience using mechanical measuring equipment.
  • Experience in mechanical design and/or mechatronic systems; familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
