This role combines hands-on design work with team leadership, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, Marketing, and stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centred digital experiences that support both user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Marketing, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, UI libraries, and documentation to ensure consistency across products.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on team designs to maintain high design standards.
  • Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Help prioritise workloads, remove blockers, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a UI/UX team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design, product thinking, and user-centred design processes.
  • Proven experience designing responsive web applications and digital products.
  • Strong understanding of user research, usability testing, information architecture, user flows, and interaction design.
  • Expert knowledge of Figma is essential, including component libraries, auto layout, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Experience with AI-powered design workflows and vibe coding is required, with the ability to leverage modern AI tools to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining strong UX principles.
  • Experience using analytics and user insights to improve product performance.
  • Understanding of design systems and component-based design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
