As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Infrastructure Platforms team you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and drive the strategy for IP's global early talent initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the GT program team and various stakeholders to drive the GT early career vision and foster a cohesive approach to talent development.
- Partner with program sponsors and leadership to create and drive the vision for junior talent.
- Design and implement learning journeys for junior talent, focusing on programs that facilitate their transition, broaden their understanding of technologies and best practices, and support retention and growth.
- Lead council meetings to develop regional strategies that aid in demand planning, ensuring the best role and manager fit for junior talent.
- Plan and drive engagement and alumni meets across different regions, fostering a sense of community and connection among early career talent.
- Support Junior Talent Managers in driving best practices and standardizing the program experience across the organization, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Provide ongoing support to junior talent across the organization, empowering them to achieve success and reach their full potential.
- Act as a liaison with the GT program team on demand planning, role submission, and promotion cycles, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
- Work dynamically across globally diverse virtual teams to deliver strategic initiatives and projects, planning, implementing, and managing proposed recommendations and programs.
- Manage your own portfolio of work and develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification as Technical Program Manager and 5+ years exerience
- Demonstrates strong knowledge and relevant experience in similar roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work with senior leaders.
- Experience taking complex and ambiguous information and refining it into meaningful content and clear action plans.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Resource Management, Operational Change Management, and Portfolio Management.
- Ability to establish and build strong relationships and partnerships across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence across various seniorities, teams, and departments.
- Self-manages professional development and desire to take on increasing responsibility and project/program ownership.
- Experience conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, and stakeholders, and assessing trends, threats, and opportunities.
