Get to Know the Role

As an individual contributor, you will manage complex, multi-functional projects that improve how Grab serves businesses across Southeast Asia. You'll plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with team members across the company. Working with both engineering and business teams, you will help deliver features that enhance the experiences of millions of passengers, drivers, and merchants.

You will report to the Lead Technical Program Manager.

This role will be onsite at Grab office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will manage project timelines, define milestones, monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve impediments.
  • You will collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and QA to ensure successful program delivery.
  • You will be lead the communication interface for complex programs spanning multiple engineering organizations.
  • You will coach teams on suitable delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • You will lead roadmap planning and prioritisation processes.
  • You will find ways to improve team and organisational delivery methods.
  • You will drive teams to deliver value.
  • You will implement changes in the way teams operate and deliver.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 7+ years experience in technical program management and delivering complex projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Expertise in risk management, stakeholder management, and resource allocation.
  • Experience solving complex problems by using data for decision making.
  • Experience articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management for large-scale programs.
  • Experience with software development processes and current technology trends.
  • PMP certification is a advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment.
