Job DescriptionThis is a technical leadership role for the Poland Click to Pay team. You will be guiding our web, mobile, and Java projects. This portfolio includes Click 2 Pay, regional products, and future services. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual with excellent software engineering skills and expertise in developing full stack applications. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to staying on cutting edge - continuously exploring AI-driven tools to enhance system design, optimize workflows and create transformative digital solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure consistent engineering standards across all programs.
- Design, develop and maintain mission-critical and sophisticated systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Develop high quality code, participate in code reviews, and coordinate with dev leads across programs.
- Coordinate and participate in Continuous Integration activities, automation frameworks for testing and deployments etc. in addition to contributing to core product code.
- Interact with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.
- Present technical solutions, capabilities, and features in business terms.
- Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
- Actively evaluate and communicate the trade-offs between short-term and long-term solutions.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
This role qualifies for Autorskie Koszty Uzyskania Przychodu (KUP), in accordance with applicable Polish tax regulations. Eligible employees may benefit from preferential tax treatment on income derived from the creation of intellectual property, subject to meeting statutory criteria.
Qualifications- 12 or more years of work experience with a University Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Science, Math.
- At least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Experience in commercial software development on Unix/Linux environment.
- Strong in Core Java development concepts and design patterns. Good design and coding skills in Java/J2ee, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, Soap/Rest APIs.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React/Redux, TypeScript, etc.)
- Capable to leverage DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test Driven.
- Understanding of browser APIs, navigating third-party domain challenges, cookie restrictions, and familiarity with modern browser privacy features.
- Experience working on cross-browser, cross-device, hybrid apps
- Consumer/user facing application development experience.
- Understanding of architecture and operations of highly available and scalable transactional systems.
- Experience in the Payment domain is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration into business solutions is a plus.
- Experience building RAG pipelines and multi-agent AI systems is a plus.
- Experience in designing and maintaining highly available (99.999%) and performant critical systems.
- Adept at leveraging GenAI tools like Copilot, Claude Sonnet for faster development
- Experience with agile development process.
