Ingram Micro is seeking experienced software engineers who can leverage their skill set to grow as part of an Agile SCRUM team. They must be quick learners and love challenging themselves to constantly raise the bar. Key Job Functions/Requirements- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using IBM mainframe and allied technologies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of business requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practices
- Be able to contribute code and solutions based on your previous training and referencing help, manuals or other resources on your own
- Willing to assume end-to-end ownership of solutions as part of Agile SCRUM team, which includes assisting in development of testing automation and other key quality aspects
- Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate
- Engage in all Agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and team retrospectives
- Demonstrates awareness of DevOps mindset where Agile SCRUM team is accountable for product from inception to sunset
- Create and/or update documentation to support development efforts. Documentation may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams and/or design documents
- Share knowledge among members in Agile SCRUM team
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Able to translate customer and business needs to technical solutions

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4 – 10 years
- Associate to have experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS. Should have worked in all phases of application development from requirement, analysis to Deployment.
- Experience in production support ( Mainframe Batch) will be an added advantage
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or cloud environments especially GCP.
- Experience working in Agile teams, using tools like Jira, DevOps, or similar
- A collaborative mindset with good communication skills
- Familiarity with databases/DBMS like PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
- Good understanding of Unit testing
- General understanding of Agile Management Tools (i.e. Confluence, Jira)
Nice to have Skills
- Good understanding of Supply chain domain.
- General understanding of EDI standards and processes preferably for supply chain domain.
