We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Administrator to lead the administration and optimization of our SAP systems across a global enterprise landscape. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of SAP environments, including S/4HANA in a private cloud and related components. You will manage a team of SAP Basis professionals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to drive operational excellence and support strategic SAP initiatives.
Plan and safeguard uninterrupted SAP operations, ensuring system stability and performance
Manage system maintenance and coordinate external service providers
Organize and participate in on-call support
Act as a hands-on expert for SAP Basis operations
Perform system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and support package implementations
Monitor and optimize system performance for maximum efficiency
Provide technical guidance and enforce best practices for SAP S/4 across regional teams
Execute and proactively manage projects such as release management, rollouts, and upgrades in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, including S/4HANA in private cloud environments
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven ability to deliver high-performing, secure SAP landscapes.
Hands-on expertise in system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional projects.
