Position Details:
As a Business Admin supporting Sales and Customer Service technologies this role is involved in the full systems life cycle with a concentration on our Salesforce platform and supporting integrations. You will be responsible for leading the team through the build portion of design, coding, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting application software and systems that are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with Architects, Product Managers and Portfolio Managers to understand the business objectives and drive the analysis to define the physical designs that deliver maximized value for our customers. Software Engineers may be assigned to either development or support functions.
You Will:

  • Lead estimation, analysis, design, build and implementation of enterprise level projects related to Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the evaluation, design, and delivery of business capabilities.
  • Provide business analysis to arrive at the optimal design of our technical solutions
  • Define appropriate solutions for business challenges using Salesforce's declarative and programmatic features including Lightning Web Components, Apex, Visual Force, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Salesforce Einstein/AI capabilities and SOQL.
  • Apply best practices in Salesforce data modeling, interface design, code development, and testing.
  • Responsible for ensuring Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Lead governance efforts, architecture reviews, and contribute to various methodologies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a mindset of ongoing enhancement.
  • Guide the development and support team during crisis and code red situations.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce technology trends to ensure applications are scalable, flexible, secure, and robust.
  • Participate and lead actively in daily standup, and other standard meetings
  • Assist post-production support to address production defects
  • Handles and implements third-party integrations and trouble-shoots any issues with vendors/partners and applications as they arise.
  • Provide user story analysis, assessment, and applicable documents needed to enhance page layouts, workflows, validation rules, user visibility, custom code (Visualforce or Apex), etc.; coordinate with other teams as needed
  • Provide a test strategy, conduct testing, and promote changes through our multi-tier environment


You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business analysis, software development or related field
  • 7+ years of technology experience solutioning in Salesforce through development and declarative methods
  • 3+ years of experience across software optimization including software assessment, software builds and software change management
  • Understanding of communication strategy and ability to craft clear, effective Jira stories.
  • Experience supporting user teams with software development, including documenting user requirements, UI/UX considerations, testing and release management
  • Ability to translate business process into technical solutions through facilitation and communication with business and technical based teams.
  • Influence decision-making processes without having specific authority
  • Salesforce Admin 101 certification or higher
  • Facilitation skills to elicit requirements/issue details from various personalities across the organization including senior executives.
