Job description
Seeking a creative, open-minded Lead QA Engineer to perform automated testing of financial software. Responsible for the execution of all Quality Assurance testing objectives.
Technology stack
Selenium, TestNg, JavaScript, SQL, TeamCity, Git, Tomcat, Windows IIS, PowerShell
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop an automated test framework for Web based and Desktop based applications
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using chosen tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Monitor and analyze test results, logging defects, and coordinating with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the testing process and methodologies.
- Lead the QA team in developing and implementing automated test strategies and frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering skills development and promoting best practices.
- Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience on lead position
- 3+ years’ experience on automated tests developing
- 7+ years of experience in testing and quality assurance
- Having experience designing and developing test framework from scratch
- Strong Programming language knowledge
- Strong CI\CD knowledge
- Basic SQL Server and Transact SQL skills
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Good analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements
- Good problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills
The candidate should be able to work independently or in a cross-functional team in multitasking and dynamic environment. A good understanding of financial industry or services is a big plus.
