 How the program works

LEAD is built around rotations — you’ll experience different teams and challenges before growing into a permanent role. Based on your background, your interests, and where the business needs you, you’ll build your journey inside one of our main areas of work:

Information Technology (IT) — NEW

For people who love technology and want it to move our business from the inside.

Throughout the program, you will take on diverse assignments across Enterprise IT that align with business priorities and your career goals. You'll work on projects that enable business growth and operational excellence while gaining exposure to multiple areas of technology and their impact across functions such as Operations, Services, Digital Electronics, Engineering, and Finance.

You'll have the opportunity to build experience in areas such as:

  • Project & Product Management

Throughout the program, you will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to develop solutions that improve fleet reliability, increase asset availability, reduce lifecycle costs, and maximize operational performance.

Throughout the program, you will contribute to engineering solutions that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability while helping shape the future of rail transportation.

 What we’re looking for

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field (preferred: Electrical, Control & Automation, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Materials, Mechanical, and related fields)
  • Graduation between January 2025 and December 2027
  • Consistent academic performance — ideally an average of 70% or above
  • Advanced or fluent English
  • Availability to travel and, depending on the area, to work in the field
  • Some prior experience — internships, research, extension programs, student groups, or similar activities
