GCA is expanding its footprint in Mexico through the establishment of a dedicated analytics capability center to meet growing business demand and accelerate the development of innovative analytics solutions for the US Commercial Division.
The Lead, Pipeline & Analytics Excellence (PAE) will oversee the PAE team within the GCA Mexico Analytics Center. This leader will play a critical role in shaping and executing data asset strategies that enable high-quality analytics across GCA's key commercial capabilities - including Marketing Analytics, Field Force Analytics, Performance Reporting, and Forecasting. As a trusted advisor and hands-on leader, this individual will guide the design and development of scalable, robust data layers and assets, ensuring solutions are aligned with evolving business needs and built with sustainability, accuracy, and agility in mind.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Data Asset Strategy
  • Develop and lead data asset strategy for GCA capabilities across Marketing Analytics, Field Force Analytics, Performance Reporting, and Forecasting - ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and analytics capability roadmaps.
  • Oversee the prototyping and deployment of modern, scalable data layers to support advanced analytics, reporting, and modeling use cases across the US Commercial Division.
  • Partner closely with Digital and Technology teams to scale and industrialize data solutions from prototypes to enterprise-ready products.
  • Work with senior GCA leaders to create strategic data solution roadmaps that align to business and capability priorities, establishing a clear foundation for data-driven decision-making.

Technical & Operational Excellence
  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader, translating business requirements into enterprise-grade data architecture and engineering strategies - guiding design decisions and ensuring scalability, reusability, and adherence to data standards.
  • Oversee the development of robust data pipelines, query-friendly data structures, and analytics-ready data assets, ensuring reliability, performance, and quality.
  • Drive automation and optimization across data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes, establishing best practices and ensuring consistent adoption across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, embedding controls into technical designs and team workflows.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Align closely with the PAE Data Strategy and Management Lead in setting direction and strategy for the team and ensuring the adoption of DSM standardsand governance models.
  • Serve as a strategic data advisor to GCA analytics teams and business stakeholders, leveraging deep commercial data expertise to shape recommendations on how to optimize, govern, and utilize data assets effectively.
  • Ensure alignment across business functions on data usage, fostering trust in data and driving business efficiency and analytic accuracy.
  • Partner closely with Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI), Data Science, and IIS teams, managing cross-team dependencies and enabling advanced analytics, modeling, and AI use cases.
  • Promote data literacy and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring accessible, reliable, and well-governed data across the organization.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment within the GCA Mexico Analytics Center.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data excellence, empowering team members to grow and contribute meaningfully.
  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and delivery plans, balancing short-term business needs with longer-term platform, governance, and capability investments.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: BA/BS with 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field; MS/MBA with 6+ years; or PhD with 2+ years. A minimum of 3 years in a people leadership or project lead capacity is required.
  • Commercial Data Expertise: Strong understanding of commercial analytics capabilities including performance analytics, data science, marketing analytics, segmentation and targeting, and forecasting. Expert-level familiarity with commercial data assets including syndicated datasets, customer engagement data, financial, and marketing data.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data platforms. Strong understanding of Big Data systems, pipelines, distributed architectures, and analytics-ready data modeling.
  • Data Strategy: Demonstrated experience driving enterprise data strategies and solutions across multiple domains, with a track record of building scalable, reusable data capabilities in complex commercial environments.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority and shape compelling narratives for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop people, drive empowerment, and build a people-centered culture within a high-performing analytics team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Bio-Pharma or Life Sciences industry, particularly within US commercial functions.
  • Hands-on experience performing analysis of commercial datasets and synthesizing actionable insights.
  • Expertise in developing data strategies and fostering alignment across multiple teams, with demonstrated out-of-the-box approaches aligned to business priorities.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments with structured backlog management.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms, orchestration tools, and API integration frameworks.
  • Experience working in or with a Global Capability Center (GCC) or shared services analytics environment.
