We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to guarantee our applications meet high standards for speed, scalability, and stability, integrating performance best practices from conception to deployment. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will provide mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices, and guiding them in performance testing and analysis.

What will your job entail?

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for applications and systems.

· Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis for performance issues.

· Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track performance metrics.

· Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure performance requirements are integrated early in the development lifecycle.

· Document test plans, results, and provide actionable recommendations.

· Integrate test scripts within CI/CD pipelines for efficient execution. · Monitor application performance using APM tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic), Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk), providing actionable insights.

· Generate performance reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

· Mentor teams on performance best practices and foster a performance-aware culture.

· Design and document performance testing processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; Software Engineering, Computer Science degree is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in performance engineering or related roles

· Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).

· Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).

· Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Shell).

· Deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and database performance tuning.

· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) with experience reading logs and viewing usage metrics within (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray).

· Exposure making updates and improvements to CICD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Knowledge of APM tools and distributed tracing.

· Relevant certifications in performance testing or cloud technologies.
