Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the manufacturing product engineer for rotating hardware components, with end-to-end ownership of manufacturing support and process performance
- Lead efforts to improve ergonomics, safety, and overall shop-floor execution
- Drive improvements in First Time Yield (FTY), productivity, and manufacturing efficiency
- Reduce inactive hardware, aged work-in-process (WIP), and cost of quality (CoQ)
- Support process redesign and layout optimization using lean principles and continuous improvement methods
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure performance supports delivery commitments for a $65M business
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or (a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting).
- A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production.
- GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted.
