Job Description SummaryThe Lead Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Specialist will work in a production shop environment and serve as manufacturing engineer, learning the processes, hardware, specs, and quality requirements in Lynn Plant 4 - Green Cell. As a Lead ME, you will have hardware ownership with either the T700 Midframe and/or component hardware of a Midframe, and/or with our NPI hardware: T700 Spacer Ring, F110 components, or T901 components.
Green Cell is also undergoing a transformation during 2026-2027, as we are moving our production line across the plant to implement 4 single-piece flow lines, which will expose them to lean principles and techniques. This is an invaluable opportunity to be in a dynamic area with regular report outs and visibility to senior leadership. Manufacturing Engineer will be coached and given autonomy to have a fulfilling role with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. High opportunity area for RCCA and process improvement.
KPIs include (safety) improvement of I&I's, (quality) first time yield improvements and Cost of Quality (rework and scrap), (delivery) Midframes shipped, (inventory) reduction of aged WIP, (productivity) process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or (a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience) manufacturing setting.
  • A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production
  • GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted.

The base pay range for this position is $100,050-$120,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on September 22, 2026.
