Lead Generation Specialist

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to join our Commercial team and support business development efforts. This role will assist in conducting global market research across several key areas including target companies and personas, AI-for-manufacturing competitors, outreach channels, and relevant industry events.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate sales prospects from a direct perspective as per the verticals we're looking to play in and our selection criteria.
- For Direct sales, narrow down the search to specific personas that we're looking to target.
- Perform well structured research on the ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles i.e. companies in our target verticals) and personas in order to craft the ideal reach out message.
- Emailing and Calling prospects to set up further discussions with our Commercial Team.
- Be able to conduct and present well structured competitor research.
- Be able to conduct and present well structured research on prevailing market trends within manufacturing globally.
- Aspire to grow within this role to becoming a Bus Dev specialist in a Tech/SaaS environment
Skills Required
- Undergraduate degree in BCom, Communication, Business Administration, or a similar field
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo and Rocketreach
- Good research proficiency
- Willing and able to learn new things about the manufacturing space.
- Good problem solving ability
- Must be a self-starter and be able to take initiative
- Knowledge of manufacturing is an advantage
- 1-2 years software sales/commercial experience is an advantage
