Primary Responsibility:

  • Work directly with key stakeholders to assist in driving business decisions.
  • Analyze monthly financial results, including KPI’s, and identify/explain trends, preparing related summaries/management reports for business leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in building monthly reporting packages, decks and communication of results.
  • Develop and automate models to transform data into meaningful, clear, concise reporting/action plans.
  • Assist in developing Budget/Plan and Forecast using various models, industry data, and insights from business leaders. 
  • Develop end-to-end product knowledge to support business decision making.
  • Help run projects and be able to mentor Junior/Senior Analysts on the team.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data & Analytics business partners to build and implement AI-centric reporting, modeling, and business insight solutions.
  • Support business opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and their teams, creating proformas, and other ad-hoc analysis.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders and other cross-functional groups (Ops, Accounting, Technology, Data & Analytics, etc.)
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations (Baldwin Group Azimuth) and influencing others to reward performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or other relevant disciplines.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Licenses: CPA or CFA preferred but not required. Insurance licenses such as CPCU, Affiliated, P&C licensing, etc. a plus.
  • Experience with Workday suite of products and Adaptive Insights a plus.
  • Experience with process automation and utilization of Anthropic AI tools a plus

Skills:

  • Analyze information and use logic/rationale that connects concepts.
  • Ability to build a story around your findings and relay results to leaders.
  • Willingness to lead projects and align colleagues to achieve goals.
  • Utilize effective research and investigative techniques.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP (accruals, revenue recognition, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Experience with AI tools and process automation is preferable.
  • Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Travel Frequency – Up to 10%.
  • Strong preference for candidate to reside in Tampa, FL or Boston, MA with a hybrid office schedule of 2-3 days a week.
  • Open to remote for strong candidates.

Starting Compensation: $100,000 + annually
