- Prepare monthly consolidated GAAP financial statements.
- Account for share-based compensation and calculate diluted shares outstanding.
- Prepare earnings releases and draft financial statements and disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings, specifically Form 10-Q and 10-K.
- Manage the review and submission of iXBRL tagging for SEC filings.
- Maintain GAAP accounting policies and procedures; research and implement new accounting guidance.
- Prepare financial analyses and summaries for management and the board of directors.
- Serve as a contact for external auditors; support quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Perform accounting for fixed assets, leases and impairment analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Participate in or lead special projects, as assigned.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 4+ years of related experience
- [OR] equivalent level of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and related disclosures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to research and apply accounting guidance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large datasets
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present findings to management
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, pay attention to detail and manage multiple priorities
