Lead Counsel - Public

We are seeking a Lawyer to support commercial business activities with both private and public sector customers, providing legal guidance on commercial contracting, public procurement and bidding processes, regulatory requirements, and contractual matters involving private companies and public entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to Commercial, Private and Public Customers, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, and other functions across the company.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial, service, distribution, government, and partnership agreements with private and public counterparties.
• Advise on healthcare-related legal, regulatory, procurement, compliance, and contractual matters across both private and public markets.
• Support public procurement and government contracting activities, as well as private-sector commercial negotiations (hospitals, clinics, diagnostic chains, distributors, and corporate customers).
• Assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks while supporting business growth.
• Support new business models, strategic initiatives, and process improvements.
• Proactively partner with cross-functional teams to deliver practical legal solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Law degree and license to practice law (OAB).
• 4–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in multinational companies.
• Strong experience with commercial contracting for private customers and with public procurement, bidding processes, public tenders, and government contracting in Brazil.
• Experience supporting both private and government customers and their respective contracting processes.
• Strong understanding of legal risk assessment, contract management, and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, matters, and priorities.
• Fluent English and Portuguese.
