Job DescriptionCoordinate and implement the pit procedures. Maintain two-way communication with subordinates to ensure awareness of new policies or procedures. Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and guests. Act as a Casino Operations Shift Manager designee at times in which may be responsible for taxable jackpots in slots.
Qualifications- Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
- This position has oversight of both the Slots and Table Games department.
- Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino Resort – St. Charles.
- This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
- Must maintain the strictest confidence pertaining to any and all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos.
- Address team member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
- Assist the Talent Team with interviews and make recommendations on those to hire.
- Train and develop dealers to ensure highest level of performance.
