Position Description

We are looking for a Technical Lead  to join our Front Office Market Connectivity team in Hong Kong. As part of the development team, you’ll work very closely with business users, vendors and other front office development and support teams to develop our Market Connectivity platform

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Task planning and handle requests from various parties

  • Continuously review and provide recommendation to improve the system

  • Liaise with other development teams to agree and document design of interrelated functions

  • Conduct code review and provide guidance to other team members

  • Unit testing, functional testing of the developed code

  • Responsible for timely and quality delivery of software solutions

  • Ensure full compliance to all CSI and required training and regulatory requirements for you and your team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of higher in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.

  • 8 years and above relevant experience in IT system delivery in banking/securities/FI

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of FIX/Exchange protocols would be a plus

  • Knowledge of OMS/EMS/Cash Equities concepts would be a plus

  • Experience in low latency techniques, LMAX disruptor etc.

  • Exposure to software engineering tools/applications (like Git, JIRA)

  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and techniques

  • Experience of the build process using Maven

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English is mandatory
