The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range$169,400.00 - $279,600.00In this role, you will work closely with multiple Value Streams to deliver our new AI-native platform through a scaled agile delivery model. You will establish strategic architecture for future capabilities, conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs), define patterns and guidelines to shape our future Platform Architecture, and support the platform build execution.
The ideal candidate orchestrates the technical strategy that empowers engineering teams — defining target states, creating technology roadmaps and establishing architectural frameworks that accelerate innovation while maintaining standards and governance. As the essential bridge between business strategy and technical implementation, this role directly shapes organizational agility, system integration and our ability to rapidly adapt and scale technology solutions across the business landscape.
The right candidate brings demonstrated architecture experience leading major transformations, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and influences key decisions. This person is comfortable conducting hands-on POCs, leveraging established and emerging AI tools and frameworks, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders.What Will You Do?
- Scope:
- Responsible for architecture for multiple technology and or/ business segments/domains for a single business unit.
- Technical Execution:
- Define architecture to enable business capabilities
- Define and prototype technology proof of concepts to validate architectural solutions.
- Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt. Partner with Technology and Business leadership to ensure proper alignment with technology direction and execution of proof of technologies.
- Define and lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to capitalize on technology advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential impact on the enterprise.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions.
- Partner with Technology and Business leadership to ensure proper alignment with technology direction and execution of proof of technologies.
- Strategic Accountability:
- Provide strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernization.
- Engage with the senior leadership within Technology and Business to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperatives and gain buy-in.

- Technical Expertise & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent, with 8 to 10 years of architecture experience.
- Successful execution of complex, large-scale technology strategies.
- Advanced-level architecture experience implementing large-scale custom/homegrown platforms, including recent experience implementing AI solutions.
- Proven experience with the established architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, and familiarity with emerging Agentic Architecture patterns.
