Mindoula is seeking a Lead Account Representative to oversee the overall billing process for our CCP operations. This includes handling invoicing, reconciling, medical billing, client followup, and data entry tasks. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to submit patient billing, prepare and email monthly invoicing, and facilitate collection management.

This is a 100% remote position. The Lead Account Representative must be located in the United States. 

What you'll do...

  • Prepare and submit invoices and billing reports to clients, meeting strict monthly deadlines.
  • Post payments and reconcile client accounts/invoices to maintain accurate records 
  • Handle invoice billing complaints and discrepancies, issuing corrected invoices and/or credit memos when necessary 
  • Assist/support with the collections of payments from outstanding accounts receivable on a monthly basis, including coordinating payment plans and settlements to prevent aging over 90 days 
  • Maintain accurate records of client contracts to ensure proper rates are charged 
  • Assist manager with billing assignments and verify work of other team members is completed in a timely manner 
  • Interact with a wide range of clients, building strong client relations 
  • Observe department trends and make recommendations regarding improving operations

What you'll need...

  • 4 year degree in a business field, or 4 years work experience in a similar position required 
  • Medical billing software 
  • Understanding of CPT billing codes 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, required 
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks software preferred 
  • Ability to interact with clients and CCP billing practices in a professionally manner 
  • Above average writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Detail oriented with solid organization and time management skills
