Launch Readiness Specialist
Description
This role is categorized as hybrid . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to [specific location where employee is expected to report] three times per week, at minimum.
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate. The selected must live within 50 miles of Warren, MI .

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Launch Readiness Specialist position. This role is to lead and drive the Initial order purchasing team members to meet the launch contracting deliverables.
A successful Launch Readiness Specialist is responsible for driving results within the team and is customer (stakeholder) focused, influences change, naturally accepts ownership and accountability for accomplishing program launch deliverables, explores opportunities to add value to job responsibilities with a continued focus on achieving operational objectives.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Conduct team meetings, communicating GM policies & procedures, leadership, and safety messages. You will craft specific functional communication on vision & strategy, which may include preparing and giving presentations.
- Removing Roadblocks & Resolving Issues/Complaints: Observes and steps up to remove roadblocks and resolve potential issues. Lead and support cross-functional, innovation projects to enhance GPSC stakeholder capabilities and efficiencies.
- Promote the adoption of new processes and simplification.
- Support cross-functional New Model Launch Readiness meetings.

Required Experiences:
- Developing Contracts / Agreements - 1-4 Years
- Project Execution - 1-4 Years

- Ability to deal optimally with ambiguity and forward-thinking environment.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years relevant purchasing, supply chain, related experience.
- Well-developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain / CCA business processes and system
