LATAM Head/Lead Institutional BD

The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

The Monad Foundation is on a mission to establish Monad as the leading blockchain in Latin America, by real usage and institutional adoption. We’re looking for a LATAM Head/Lead Institutional BD to establish Monad as the blockchain of choice for enterprises, financial institutions and payment providers across the region.

You’ll be building and managing strategic relationships that drive enterprise adoption and institutional integration. You’ll be the face of Monad to institutions that move markets in LATAM across use cases such as payments, tokenization/RWA, and capital markets.

• Build and activate a network of relationships with enterprises, financial institutions, payment providers and regulators.

• Drive expansion and market entry in regional payments infrastructure and enterprise blockchain adoption.

• Negotiate and close strategic deals that bring significant capital and retail adoption to Monad.

• Serve as the primary liaison between regulators and policy makers.

• Own goals and success metrics for institutional adoption and enterprise integration across the region.

• Identify and execute on high-impact opportunities that accelerate Monad’s market position.

• 8+ years of experience in business development, corporate development in fintech, payments or crypto.

• Fluent in Spanish (native proficiency preferred); Portuguese a plus. Strong English communication skills with the ability to navigate business discussions and build trust across cultures.

• Deep, established relationships with major enterprises, financial institutions, payment companies, and regulators across LATAM.

• You communicate with clarity at the executive level, earning trust with senior decision-markets across complex organizations.

• You operate with exceptional ownership and self-motivation, consistently taking initiative and following through to deliver meaningful outcomes.

• You have strong written communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with remote counterparties in a mid to large size organizations.

• You are an excellent communicator and storyteller who can move between technical and business contexts.

• Direct experience working with central banks, regulators, or policy makers in LATAM.

• Background in stablecoins, payments rails, or institutional crypto products.

• Deep technical understanding of how crypto and / or payments stack works.

• Based in Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina, with the flexibility to travel frequently across the region.
