An exciting opportunity for a Large capital and Strategic Account Management (SAM) Marketing Lead in Medtronic Korea. Reporting to the Portfolio & Channels Country/Cluster Marketing Leader Korea, will be responsible to lead marketing efforts and sustainable growth for Surgical Robotics, O-arm navigation systems, and other large capital technologies in Korea. This critical role will focus on developing and executing marketing strategies, analyzing market trends and customer needs, and driving product positioning and branding. The role plays a key part in securing capital and account-level deals by offering diverse purchasing and financing solutions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).

  • Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities.

  • Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities.

  • Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.

  • Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place.

  • Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.

  • Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years sales management or business leadership or strategic marketing management experience in the health industry, preferably Large Capital and Surgical device.

  • A strategic and growth mindset with effective communication skills, diplomacy and negotiation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English

  • High level of financial acumen skills given extensive focus in role of deal architecting and financial analysis

  • Excellent computer literacy including a high level of knowledge MS Office suite of software

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the Korean Healthcare market, hospital landscape, mechanisms and KPIs
