Job Overview:
The LST Pricing Analyst has the responsibility for the analytical requirements to deliver the Area direction setting and market Intelligence around trucking products and their relevant pricing in SAA countries.
She/he operates at an executional level with a near-term objective of analyzing market data to deliver the Area’s growth strategy.
She/he monitors market trends and assists on data analysis, planning and administrative tasks to support strategic planning through the usage of insight into intelligence gathering in close cooperation with SAA extended leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze market intelligence

Maintenance of Customer specific accounts RFQ-related bid and profit statements.

Design and construct professional slides deck to support ongoing bids and product development.
-
Follow up and close monthly action plan with Operations, sales, Finance and Business Controller for key customer accounts.

Data extraction and analysis as and when required.
-
Follow up with various functions such as Finance, Business Control (BCO), Sales Support, Operations, and others on data accuracy.

Be the single point of contact and responsible party to track and follow up with the various functions on improving data quality and visibility.

From the data available, highlight trends, potential upsides, and downsides for the various Products and support them in formulating business improvement plans or new product development.

Define growth/segmentation opportunities

Provide input for Inland tender preparation

Responsible for the maintenance of Product Dashboards.

SFDC (Salesforce.com) opportunities hygiene
-
Deliver weekly report and ensure hygiene data by checking with relevant stakeholders.

Provide key transactional performance metrics as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Science, Accounting, or other related fields.
-
Minimum work experience of 5 years in Logistics.
-
Experience working in Inland Transportation / LCL is a plus.
-
Experience of working in a fast paced/growth environment.
-
Be highly proficient in the use of financial/operational systems and tools – ideally with hands-on SAP user experience.

Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office Power point & Excel.

Compliance and regulatory knowledge.

High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

High level of communication, ability to influence without authority, and effectively communicating with different groups & levels of stakeholders.
