The Military Family Life Counseling Program (MFLC) is seeking an experienced and innovative Knowledge Manager to support program-wide knowledge management efforts. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of knowledge management frameworks that enable efficient information sharing, support organizational learning, and improve overall mission effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a background in knowledge management or information science, experience with collaboration tools and content platforms, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional knowledge exchange.
Primary Responsibilities

Establish and maintain standardized knowledge management policies, SOPs, and best practices to promote consistency and compliance across all program teams and functions

Oversee content lifecycle management, ensuring accurate, current, and accessible documentation, including policies, procedures, processes, best practices, and other artifacts

Leverage platforms such as SharePoint Online, PowerApps, PowerBI, and other collaborative tools to support efficient knowledge sharing and searchability

Maintain a centralized knowledge repository and promote its adoption across program teams and functions through training, process integration, and top-tier customer service

Lead or support training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage collaboration and organizational learning
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years (additional experience can be used in lieu of education requirements)

Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Able to employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems to achieve program knowledge management objectives

Experience designing and implementing training programs for different audiences

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal staff members representing different functions

Able to develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas

Able to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight
Preferred Qualifications
-
Military experience, including MilSpouse, Veteran, or past DoD experience, is strongly desired

Familiarity or willingness to learn basic Visio, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, and other collaborative tools

Familiarity with operations and planning processes

Familiarity with Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies

Background in cross-functional team collaboration and briefing different audiences

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
