Role Description
The Pipeline Management Assistant Vice President (AVP) will lead the Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Business-As-Usual (BAU) pipeline operations, drive key change initiatives and oversee team deliverables. This role requires a strong blend of operational leadership, technical database expertise, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will manage daily work allocation, ensure strict SLA adherence within our lifecycle management systems, and develop robust data solutions to optimize future-state processes.

Your key responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Governance
Lead RTB / BAU Operations: Oversee daily Pipeline Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations to ensure seamless execution.
Drive Change Initiatives: Lead and drive the Pipeline Change Book of Work (BoW), aligning deliverables with strategic business priorities.
Team & Query Management: Manage work allocation within the team and oversee the pipeline query management process to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
SLA & Exception Management: Monitor Pre-Review (PR) and Event-Driven Review (EDR) creation in dbCLM to ensure strict SLA adherence. Oversee OneFlow validation and exception management.
Continuous Improvement: Engage actively with Transformation teams to enhance existing processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure robust governance control effectiveness.
Data Engineering & Analytics
Stakeholder Collaboration: Support various stakeholder groups to understand, interpret, and translate changes in business logic into existing data algorithms.
Database Development: Develop, implement, and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, and views to support pipeline reporting and analytics.
Strategic Planning: Assist in the definition and creation of data strategies for future-state operational processes.
Your skills and experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Industry Experience: Proven experience working within a large financial services environment; prior exposure to Know Your Customer (KYC) processes is highly desirable.
Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate operational activities, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes within defined timelines and service standards
Analytical & Data Skills: Demonstrable analytical skills with a track record of successfully implementing structured data solutions.
Tools and planning: Experience using specialist data and analytical tools to support capacity planning, pipeline management, and operational decision-making.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
