Kitting Supervisor
Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Kitting Supervisor to join our Warehouse team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In this role, you will oversee the kitting operations, ensuring that all components and materials are accurately gathered, packaged, and delivered to support our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily kitting activities, ensuring timely and accurate assembly of kits for production orders.

Lead, train, and support a team of kitting associates, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.

Monitor inventory levels of kitting components, coordinating with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of materials.

Implement and maintain quality checks to verify that all kits are complete and meet required specifications.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with cross-functional teams to streamline kitting operations via Continuous Improvement activities.

Maintain accurate records of kitting activities and prepare reports on performance metrics, including productivity and accuracy.

Implement kanban and two bin systems where possible.

Maintain RFID system accuracy for specific product lines

Ensure all kitting operations adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards, promoting a safe work environment.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:

5-7 years of experience in a kitting, warehouse, or production role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on accuracy.

Proficiency in inventory management systems and kitting software, along with basic computer skills.

Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
