Job Description:
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving profitable sales with key customers for Mars 🐱, home to some of the world’s most beloved brands 🐈 🐕. This role requires a dynamic relationship-builder and results-oriented strategist who can execute winning customer plans that deliver across key levers: revenue, profit, assortment, shelving, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.
What are we looking for?Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
5+ years of sales experience in the FMCG industry
Proven success managing retail key accounts
Proficiency in Romanian and English required.
Strong knowledge of forecasting, Nielsen data, and trade management systems 📈
Willingness to travel up to 10% 🌍
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record 🚗
A strong love for pets 🐱ྀི ⋆🐾° ᡣ𐭩
✅ Create and execute customer solutions that drive profitable sales growth across seasonal events, product placement, shelving, merchandising, and pricing—aligned with customer objectives, category leadership, and company goals
✅ Influence customers by delivering fact-based presentations that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes
✅ Lead new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact
✅ Ensure accurate forecasting and follow-through on all agreed solutions with customers
✅ Manage customer trade funds in compliance with internal and external requirements, continuously improving the effectiveness of spending
✅ Provide customers with relevant category insights and make strategic recommendations for growth. Collect and share customer feedback along with potential solutions
