Job Description:
Summary & Purpose of the Position
Responsible for ethical promotion of the company's relevant brands, for effectively managing resources in the designated territory and key customers in order to achieve the business objectives;
It is responsible for providing accurate and timely medical information to health professionals.
Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
- Implements brand strategy and marketing tactics validated for the company's products, targeting key customers, in accordance with the relevant pharmaceutical market trends;
- Is responsible for designing, approving internally and implementing an action plan for the allocated territory, in order to achieve the planned business objectives;
- Respects manager’s recommendations and company’s SOPs
- Monitors competition in their area and cascades relevant information regarding competitor activity and adjust local strategy accordingly in the area of activity
- Constantly share information with manager and best practices with peers
- Respects the established performance indicators on the country and individual (Number of visits to promote compliance with higher frequencies promotional press, etc.);
- Offers and recommends actions needed to improve the business results and customer relationship management (events, update target promotion, customer discovery / inclusion specialties);
- Is responsible for continuous self-training using company’s resources, followed by regular testing of product knowledge, as per the established company standards
- Analyzes market data and implements an action plan approved by manager to improve performance;
- Knows and respects the company's rules on pharmacovigilance (reporting adverse reactions, customer objections, etc.), and periodic training;
- May participate in interdepartmental project teams;
- Maintains professional business relationships with internal and external customers (doctors, pharmacists , directors hospitals, clinics, CJAS , distributors ) set by management;
- Is responsible for allocating resources and managing them effective, efficient and ethical;
- Observes and applies the ethics code of Ipsen and code of ethics ARPIM. Respects the rules laid down in company;
- Weekly planning promotional activity and reports activity as per company standards- using reporting information system validated by the company;
- Meets deadlines and informs the manager by email up to 6 hours if cannot fulfill. If written communication is not possible within 6 hours, information will be transmitted by phone and written message / report will be made later in 24-48 hours;
- Respects and implements the company's strategy and rules regarding communication with the media, authorities and health professionals;
- Informs hierarchical supervisor of all relevant information in the area related to Ipsen products, competitors, health professionals, media etc.;
- Attends all meetings of the company's professional and observes the daily work program. If this is not possible, he will communicate the reasons at least 7 days before the announced meeting (except for emergencies);
- Participates, in accordance with company policy, at the medical and pharmaceutical scientific, congresses, national and Interactional (congresses, conferences, etc.). If this is not possible, he will communicate the reasons at least 30 days before the announced meeting (except for emergencies);
- Respects and enforces company policy on cars;
- Respects and implements financial policy - the accounting of the company;
- Observes and applies the rules of communication of the company, using e-mail, written reports, phone;
- Respects and fulfills all other tasks specific to that place received from superiors;
- Informs the hierarchical superior of any relevant changes occurred in the area

Education / Certifications:
- University degree
- Experience in a health promotion position at least 4 years in a multinational company
- Proficiency in using the following applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
- English language knowledge – intermediate level
- medical training, knowledge about markets products.
- communication skills, team work, presentation and negotiation skills
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
- University degree in healthcare or science (biology, chemistry, medical engineering)
- At least 3 years of experience as medical representative in similar TA
- Experience in hospital tenders +/- pharmaceutical distribution segment
