About the role
Halter is on the hunt for a driven Supply Chain Specialist to join our high-performing production and supply chain team! As we conquer complex, global supply chain challenges, you’ll play a vital role in propelling our innovative solutions. In this hands-on role, you’ll cultivate and strengthen partnerships with Halter’s world-class suppliers, directly contributing to the production of cutting-edge, industry-leading hardware that redefines industry standards. Who are we looking for
- Experience and a comprehensive working knowledge of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationship management. You’ll have a good foundation on supply chain principles and best practices.
- Capability in leveraging inventory and supply chain management systems to keep operations smooth and efficient.
- Exposure to demand forecasting, supplier engagement, and cost optimisation to drive success across the supply chain.
- Master international logistics and trade compliance: Orchestrate seamless import/export operations, navigating global regulations and optimizing transportation to fuel our supply chain's competitive edge.
- Showcase your advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis—tracking, reporting, and making sense of numbers is your superpower. If you’re a ‘Spreadsheet Master,’ you’ll fit right in!
- Be detail-driven and results-oriented, with an eye for the finer points and a drive to make things happen.
- Thrive in the fast lane: Adapt, pivot, and stay proactive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment where change is the norm.
- Own your projects! We're looking for a proactive player who takes full ownership, pushes projects forward, and achieves results.

- A degree or equivalent, in a relevant technical field, is desirable but is not required. Come from any background—whether engineering, data, software, science, or arts. We want to hear from you if you're genuinely curious about procurement and supply chain!

- Collaborate at the Heart of Innovation: Partner with hardware, production, and go-to-market teams to seamlessly synchronise supply with demand, ensuring our global operations never miss a beat.
- Forge Strong Supplier Alliances: Build and sustain critical supplier relationships to guarantee production milestones and delivery deadlines, resolving challenges to keep our supply chain running at full speed.
- Unlock Value through Negotiation: Secure the best terms and drive impactful cost-saving initiatives to enhance the bottom line.
- Optimise with Advanced Tools: Use sophisticated spreadsheet tools to elevate material and shipment tracking, bringing efficiency and clarity to complex logistics processes.
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Rise to the challenge of rapid product design evolution and unexpected supply chain dynamics, keeping our operations nimble and responsive on a global scale.
