This role is for developers who enjoy solving problems, building backend logic, and using AI as a multiplier, not a dependency.

Location: Fully Remote

Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities

You’ll work on building AI-powered systems that solve real business problems — combining code, APIs, and AI tools to create reliable, scalable solutions.

  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows and backend systems

  • Design solutions that combine APIs, scripts, and AI agents

  • Work with internal teams to understand problems and turn them into technical solutions

  • Prototype quickly — but also improve and harden systems over time

  • Optimize solutions (e.g., reduce token usage, improve performance)

  • Debug and adapt systems when things don’t work as expected

  • Document your work and explain your thinking clearly

Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful

  • Solid programming fundamentals (Python preferred)

  • Comfortable working with APIs and building integrations

  • Ability to build solutions without relying entirely on AI tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills — you can break down and reason through problems

  • Clear communication — you can explain what you built and why

  • Curiosity and ownership — you like figuring things out, not just following instructions

  • Strong signals (highly valued)

    1. Experience building backend systems, scripts, or APIs

    2. Projects where you combined code + AI (not just prompting tools)

    3. Understanding of how systems work under the hood (not just using them)

    4. Experience debugging or improving existing systems

  • Nice to have (but not the focus)

    1. Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.)

    2. Exposure to automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)

    3. Data pipelines, scraping, or workflow automation
