Junior Kandidaat-Notaris
Have you recently completed, or close to finishing, your degree in Notarial Law? Are you looking to start your career within Law and looking for a company to support you through this?

In this approximately 3-year long programme, you will attend the post graduate notarial education (beroesopleiding notariaat) , as well as following in depth (le
gal) training at our Amsterdam office.
What can this role offer you?
In our Notarial department you work closely with your colleagues. In this team you will be supported by our civil-law notary, of Counsel and two candidate civil-law notaries as well as from the support staff. In this team, you will gain exposure to many different tasks and matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, real estate and reorganisations.
Norton Rose Fulbright has developed two excellent training courses itself: the International Academy and the Away Days. During these meetings in London (or digitally) you will meet your international colleagues with whom you will closely work with. This is the perfect time to exchange information and expand your network. The courses are aimed at your professional development and to achieve your highest potential.
Who can apply?
Our applications are now open for the position of junior candidate civil-law notary. The start dates of the Beroepsopleiding are in September and March so we urge you to apply in time to ensure timely registration at the Beroepsopleiding. Before applying, we do require some experience within a law firm, whether that be you attended a business course, internship or worked as a werkstudent so you know this is the career for you.
Some other requirements for the role are:
• You have completed a Master's degree in Notary Law/you are in the final phase;
• You have a good command of both the Dutch and English language (spoken and written);
• You want to learn and expand your experience in the field of Law; and
• You are open-minded, eager to learn and independent.
With your application you will be required to send in your CV, a Motivational Letter, Grade lists and any other assessments/reviews/evaluations and/or references you have received.
Application process
After review of your CV and documents you will go through the following process:
- Interview with the HR/Recruitment team;
- Two rounds of interviews with Partners and Lawyers of the office;
- A legal case study conducted by NRF;
- An assessment through a third party.
