Junior Graphic and Multimedia Designer

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Work closely with the Ecommerce Department to edit and produce content & marketing material including both videos and visuals for owned & operated eCommerce sites as well as 3rd Party Platforms.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

Content Asset Design

  • Take the lead of the manager to execute creative, graphic solutions that meet the brand goals by translating concepts into exciting visuals.
  • Produce sophisticated design aesthetic that lends well to online platforms, ecommerce &digital marketing media including, but not limited to site content, direct email marketing and social media, social media advertising and video/multimedia, across the brands’ online presence
  • Responsible for visual effects, editing and video production.
  • Maintain strict personal and group goals and deadlines to ensure that the entire marketing development workflow is on schedule and brand standards

Product Photography

  • Retouch product images achieved directly through agency or global images when needed

CREATIVITY:  Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Creative and detail oriented is necessary in completing all projects. Must be flexible and solution oriented with a positive attitude toward teamwork. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to quick changes, requests and deadlines.

TEAMWORK:  Builds good working relationships; collaborates toward deadlines and deliverables.  Able to communicate effectively across the team and organization; effectively works at long distances. 

ORGANIZING:  Works according to defined schedules and deadlines; takes direction well and able to work with high accountability; manages own work and tracks progress. Seeks out resources to get things done; able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

ENVIRONMENT: Flexibility to work with deadlines and demanding workflow in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: minimum of 2-3 years design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm.

Education: Diploma or above in Graphic, Multimedia Design or related disciplines.

Skills:

  • High proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects,  Avid audio production software planning and other graphic applications.
  • must have knowledge on the front-end programming (HTML/HTML5, PHP, CSS2/CSS3, JavaScript, GIF Animation, Digital Banner) will be a huge advantage
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, composition and layout.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and deal with budgetary issues.
  • Ability to be resourceful with specialty projects.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
