We are currently recruiting for a Junior Dutch Copywriter to sit within the Italian team, based in our Amsterdam office. You will be reporting into the Copywriting Manager, for the EU working closely with the wider EU business, as well as local marketing and e-commerce teams.
We will offer a temporary contract with a possibility to be renewed, depending on the performance of the individual.
This is an opportunity for someone who is wanting to produce engaging written content across multiple channels in line with the Netherland UNIQLO brand tone of voice. The content produced will be used by teams across the business in a variety of customer touchpoints, including product names and descriptions, digital ads, the UNIQLO Today blog, product category pages and content rich landing pages in support of multi-channel campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare copy for regular site and content updates, including changes to the UNIQLO homepage, category pages and product pages
Writing engaging subject lines and e-mail content for multiple weekly marketing newsletters
Preparing and revising product names and descriptions in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice expectations
Create exciting blog content
Supporting designers and site operations teams by responding to ad-hoc copy requests
Transcreating from briefs in English to provide content that is carefully crafted for the UNIQLO Dutch language customer
Developing strong product, campaign and business awareness
Proactively engaging with people across departments and following up on deliverables from others without hesitation
PROFILE
Degree educated
2+ years’ demonstrable experience content writing in an e-commerce context
Experience in retail or fashion is a plus
Exceptional spelling and grammar
Good understanding of SEO
Bilingual in Dutch (native level) and English
Clear experience working in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven and organised
Confident engaging with teams inside and outside of e-commerce
Ability to work in a multicultural setting
